Chiming In with Steve Gillis

Honest, raw conversations with sometimes controversial figures in sport. Hosted by Steve 'Chimes' Gillis.

Paul 'Nobby' Clarke is one of rugby league’s good guys. A powerful front rower forward in the 1980s and 90s, Clarke gave as good as he got but always found time to look at the lighter side of life. Tough, skilful and uncompromising, Clarke played a major role in Penrith’s first ever premiership victory in 1991.

According to team-mate Royce Simmons, Clarke was deserved on the Churchill Medal. Clarke reckons Simmons told him after the game that he was Canberra’s best player in the first half and Penrith’s best performer in the second.

In this episode of Chiming In, Nobby shares the secrets of his success and recalls how his childhood dream of playing in the NRL never left his radar.

Sin Bin with John Elias

He played 131 first grade games in the NRL. Then he became one of its most notorious figures.

Welcome to the very first episode of Sin Bin – the podcast where elite athletes tell the truth about the moments that changed their lives forever.

Hosted by former NRL player John Elias, Sin Bin goes beyond the headlines to hear directly from sporting stars who found themselves on the wrong side of the law. From criminal charges and prison sentences to redemption, rebuilding their lives, and finding purpose again, no topic is off limits.

For Episode 1, John sits in the guest's chair.

This is an honest conversation about success, failure, crime, punishment and second chances.

Chipping In - Fanatics Golf Club

Hosts Ollie Silverton & Ewan Porter look at all the week's golfing news.

And what a week it has been for the game of golf for the professionals and the amateurs. Ewan ticked off playing every course in Sydney this week and Ollie saw his first ever amateur hole-in-one which was in a match against him.

In the professional game Rory McIlroy showed his class with an epic win at the iconic Pebble Beach whilst his compatriot Shane Lowry was stealing the show with another incredible ace and Jason Day took the headlines with his outfits. Over on the DP World Tour former LIV golfer Laurie Canter gets yet another win as does former world number one Ollie Schniederjans in India.

This week is a party week with the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale and Ewan shares some epic stories from his time there, a place he knows well after living on the course for a number of years.

As ever the guys finish with something they love and hate about the game and Ewan has another tip for all you amateurs who are trying to work out how to finally crack the uncrackable game.
